After-Sales Service Policy Overview
Potensic has established this policy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. It outlines your rights regarding returns, exchanges, and repairs of Potensic products. In case of any conflict between this policy and legal regulations, the law shall prevail. You may also find information on warranty coverage, out-of-warranty repair fees, and related services.
1.Scope of Application
- This policy applies only to products purchased from Potensic official channels or authorized sellers.
- Products purchased from third-party sellers are eligible only for repair services during the warranty period. For returns or exchanges, please contact the original seller.
- This policy applies to products purchased for personal use and does not cover products purchased for resale.
2.Return and Exchange Policy
2.1 Unconditional Returns
You may request a return for any reason within 30 days of receiving the product (excluding refurbished items). To ensure smooth processing, the product must meet the following conditions:
- The product is unused, retains its original quality and functionality, and shows no signs of damage or wear.
- All components, original accessories, packaging, gifts (if any), manuals, and labels are intact and suitable for resale.
Return Notes:
- For returns not due to product quality issues, shipping costs are borne by the buyer (unless otherwise required by law).
- Refunds cover only the actual product price, excluding original shipping fees (if applicable).
- Products not meeting the above conditions may be rejected for return or exchange.
2.2 Cases Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following situations:
- Return request exceeds 30 days after receipt.
- Product not purchased through official or authorized channels, or valid proof of purchase is unavailable.
- Purchase proof is missing, altered, or unverifiable.
- Product, accessories, packaging, manuals, or labels are incomplete.
- Product shows appearance damage, wear, personal data retention, or unauthorized modifications that affect resale.
- Damage during return shipping without carrier-issued proof.
- Items clearly marked as non-returnable, such as gifts or digital products.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering with anti-counterfeit labels, certification marks, or serial numbers.
- Failure to ship the product within 7 calendar days after receiving return authorization.
- Other situations as specified by laws or this policy.
3.Warranty Policy
3.1 Warranty Service
If your product experiences performance issues not caused by human factors within the warranty period under normal use, you may request warranty service with a valid proof of purchase (paper or electronic).
3.1.1 Warranty Start Date
The warranty period begins the day after you receive the product.
3.1.3 Supported Proofs
For specific coverage and duration of main components, please refer to the Main Component Warranty Details.
Potensic guarantees that products purchased through official channels are free from material and workmanship defects under normal use during the warranty period. Free warranty service requires:
- The product is used normally and the issue is not caused by misuse or human damage.
- No unauthorized disassembly, modification, or addition of non-approved parts.
- Submission of valid proof of purchase, receipt, and order number.
3.1.4 Missing Proof Handling
If a valid purchase proof cannot be provided, the warranty period will default to 90 days from the product’s manufacturing date unless Potensic specifies otherwise.
3.1.5 Holiday Extension
If the warranty end date falls on a legal holiday, it will be extended to the next working day.
Potensic Repair Service Terms
These Repair Service Terms aim to standardize and guide your use of Potensic official channels to request repair services and safely send related products or accessories to the Potensic After-Sales Service Center.
By submitting a repair request or using this repair service, you are deemed to have fully read, understood, and agreed to all the contents of these Terms (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this service.
For matters not covered in these Terms, the Potensic After-Sales Service General Policy shall apply. In case of any inconsistency between the two, these Terms shall prevail.
Note:
These Terms apply to Potensic drones and official accessories, for personal, non-commercial use only.
1.Pre-Repair Notes
1.Personal Information Authorization
You agree that Potensic may collect, use, and process the personal information you provide during the repair request process (such as name, contact information, and shipping address) in accordance with the Potensic Privacy Policy for the purpose of providing repair services.
2. Authorization for Fault Diagnostic Data
To accurately determine the cause of faults and responsibility, you understand and agree that Potensic technicians may access and analyze drone and remote controller operational logs (such as flight parameters, sensor status, error codes, etc.) as necessary.
*Such data typically does not include personal media files stored on SD cards. To protect your privacy, it is recommended that you back up and remove all personal data and storage media before sending in your device.
3. Disclaimer for Self-Disassembly or Modifications
During the warranty period, if the device is damaged or its malfunction worsens due to unauthorized disassembly, modification, or attempted repair by the user (especially involving core circuits, motors, or vision systems), Potensic will no longer provide free warranty service and may charge for repair costs based on the actual situation.
4. Non-Repairable Devices
If the product (including but not limited to the fuselage, gimbal, or camera) is severely damaged and determined to be beyond reasonable repair, Potensic will communicate the inspection results with you.
If you choose not to proceed with repair, the product can be returned via the original shipping route, with all associated shipping costs borne by you.
5. Repair-Related Wear and Tear
Disassembly during repair may prevent the device from fully restoring its factory-sealed state or cause minor wear to tamper-proof labels, protective films, or outer casing. Potensic is not responsible for such reasonable and unavoidable wear.
2.Repair Shipping Instructions
1.Data Backup and Removal
- Back up and remove all data from the SD card and device memory before sending for repair.
- Potensic is not responsible for any data loss during repair.
2.Repair Request Submission
When requesting repair, provide a detailed description of the issue (e.g., unable to take off, video transmission error, gimbal shake, collision history) along with clear photos or videos to assist the engineers.
3.Pre-Shipment Device Check
(1) Battery Safety
Drone batteries are considered high-risk items for shipping. Do not send batteries that are swollen, leaking, damaged, or water-exposed. Unless explicitly requested by customer service, do not send batteries. Potensic is not responsible for safety risks or losses caused by improper battery shipment.
(2) Prohibited Items
Do not include SD cards, personal electronics, or non-official accessories. Potensic is not responsible for loss or damage of such items.
(3) Personalized Items
Remove all non-factory stickers, covers, or custom decorations. Potensic is not responsible for damage or loss during repair.
(4) Completeness
If the repair involves multiple components, send all relevant items together as instructed by customer service.
4.Shipping Process
- Use sturdy packaging and adequate cushioning.
- Potensic does not accept cash-on-delivery shipments.
- Shipping risks are borne by the customer.
- Send the product within 7 working days after the repair request is accepted; otherwise, the repair request may become invalid.

To help you better understand the warranty coverage for Potensic drones and related accessories, the following table lists the reference warranty periods for major products and key components.
The stated warranty periods apply to non-user-caused quality issues under normal use. Actual warranty services are subject to the results of product inspection.
Please note that consumer protection laws and regulations may vary across countries or regions. If local laws provide mandatory requirements regarding warranty periods or responsibilities, such regulations will take precedence.
